Thank you for visiting this new experience: The Owens Family Georgia Website! The purpose of this site is twofold: 1) To preserve the legacy of the Owens Family, primarily towards the descendants of Joe Cephus Owens (direct descendant of Seletia Owens), and 2) to share the information that was compiled in the Owens Family History Book, a rare "treasure" of history that was compiled over a number of years and finished in 1999 by the late Carolyn Faye Tift. A few years ago, one of our family members managed to take digital pictures of the book, and they are now being displayed for your viewing. You also can check here for any future updates regarding our upcoming Owens Family Reunions!
